Serialisation: Packaging Elements

Does an application have to be submitted to Swissmedic for the serialisation elements to be affixed to the packaging materials?

No, the serialisation can be implemented independently without an application. This includes affixing the 2D Data Matrix code, deleting redundant data, and moving parts of text. The prerequisite is that no changes are made to the content of the text.
