How is the medicinal product information for parenterals managed under the new law?
For medicinal products, which are used solely by medical personnel, the Information for Professionals can - with the approval of Swissmedic - be enclosed with the packaging instead of the Patient Information.
These enclosed Information for Professionals only need to be in two official languages. The Information for Professionals have to be electronically published in all three official languages, however.
The same rule as before thus applies for parenterals: Information for Professionals in two official languages may be enclosed instead of the Patient Information. They must, however, be published electronically in all three official languages.
