For the review of the conditions for inclusion into the Specialities List (SL), one “medicinal product unit” per year is reviewed, which is repeated every 3 years in accordance with Art.34d, KLV, of the Swiss Ordinance on Nursing Services (KLV). There are several therapeutic groups (IT groups) in each of the Units A, B and C. The IT group names within each unit are listed. The first two digits of the IT group are found in brackets after the IT group name. Example unit B: Nervous system (01). The review is carried out as follows: 2017 Unit A; 2018 Unit B; 2019 Unit C; 2020 Unit A etc.
An up-to-date list of the medicinal products to be checked for the current year is published on the BAG website under notifications concerning the Specialities List (SL).
